Marketing Data Coordinator

The Marketing Data Coordinator works with Analysis Group's client relationship management (CRM) database, InterAction, and related systems to ensure Analysis Group’s contacts are accurate, complete, and current. The Marketing Data Coordinator works closely with others in digital marketing to promote the use of InterAction, and support the creation of mailing lists for direct marketing campaigns. The Marketing Data Coordinator must demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving and communication skills as well as a strong customer-service focus.



Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Improve data quality: monitor and merge duplicate contacts with accurate data, ensure contacts are associated with their respective firm/company, standardize firm/company names and addresses, and populate necessary data fields
  • Assist with data cleansing prioritization by analyzing data from predefined searches and making decisions based on these results in conjunction with understanding business needs
  • Make recommendations for establishing guidelines and processes for entering and maintaining data within InterAction, including instructions for staff on how to manage data changes, such as changes in addresses and/or telephone numbers
  • Develop queries to facilitate customized data searches and reports
  • Execute relational searches and reporting functions while following the highest quality standards
  • Provide consultants and administrators with training and on-going support for InterAction
  • Ensure that consultants and administrators are resolving contacts, vetting lists as appropriate, adding contacts to appropriate lists, and keeping data accurate to confirm that mailings are complete and correct
  • Support list generation for email sends using the Vuture marketing automation platform
  • Assist with tracking of engagement metrics for direct marketing activities



  • Support firm-wide marketing efforts by working closely with the Marketing and Business Development team and consulting staff to ensure accurate contact data
  • Work closely with users (administrative and consulting staff), anticipating concerns and  responding to requests  



  • BA degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research or a related field is desired, plus 1 year related experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Excellent data manipulation skills, especially within InterAction or other CRM system, and Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Understanding of direct marketing, as well as mailing list production and quality
