    This position is responsible for all functions related to the international accounting, auditing, reporting compliance, and tax functions of the company's six overseas entities. This position will be responsible for the treasury and cash management functions for the entire organization.

     

    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all international accounting for the six overseas entities (Canada, China, Hong Kong, UK, Belgium and France), which includes coordinating monthly financial statements with outside accounting firms, maintaining all general ledger account reconciliations and projecting cash flow requirements
    • Reconcile the firm's currency gain/loss on a monthly basis
    • Transition the daily UK accounting transactions to Boston from outside consulting firm
    • Collaborate with the international office managers to prepare the annual budgets for the company's six oversees entities
    • Responsible for audits and tax filings for all overseas entities and a first review of the draft financial statements and reports
    • Responsible for resolving inquiries from company’s auditors
    • Responsible for handling and resolving, with assistance,  all inquiries from international taxing governmental authorities
    • Responsible for the preparation and filing of Transfer Pricing Reports for all overseas entities
    • Responsible for the reconciliation of all intercompany accounts and balances
    • Responsible for all domestic and international cash management and treasury requirements. Manage the banking relationships with the organizations five banking partners
    • Responsible for the preparation of equity ownership schedules and reconciliation to the general ledger
    • Special projects as requested

    Qualifications:

    • Strong PC capability, experience using an accounting program & proficient in Excel
    • Equivalent of 3-5 years experience in general accounting, preferably in a professional services firm
    • Experience with international accounting preferred
    • Strong communication skills required
    • Bachelor's degree required
    • Ability to be fluent in French would be a plus
