As a member of the Marketing team, the Senior Marketing Data Coordinator works in a collaborative environment with marketing and business developmentThe Senior Marketing Data Coordinator helps maintain and promote the use of Analysis Group’s CRM platform, as well as other key Marketing systems. The Senior Marketing Data Coordinator also assists in the development of our direct marketing mailing lists and tracking of email engagement metrics to deepen our digital engagement with the firm’s external network. 

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute marketing data strategies that support the operational and functional needs of the department, and the overall firm. 
  • Improve data quality: monitor and merge duplicate contacts with accurate data, apply appropriate practice area, specialization, and industry tags, ensure contacts are associated with their respective firm/company, standardize firm/company names and addresses, and populate necessary data fields. 
  • Develop queries to facilitate customized data searches and reports. 
  • Execute relational searches and reporting functions while following the highest quality standards. 
  • Support the maintenance of data for our Affiliate Database, and supporting consultants and other staff on their use of the database. 
  • Provide consultants and administrators with training and on-going support for CRM and ERM. 
  • Research key client networks; manage related data in CRM.  
  • Develop tailored list strategies and build mailing lists for direct marketing campaigns. 
  • Utilize the firm’s marketing automation platform to send marketing mailings and track email engagement metrics. 
  • Work with Marketing Operations and Marketing Data team members to produce email metrics reports and maintain comprehensive records of direct marketing activities. 
  • Ensure that consultants and administrators are resolving contacts, vetting lists as appropriate, adding contacts to appropriate lists, and keeping data accurate to confirm that mailings are complete and correct. 
  • Make recommendations for establishing guidelines and processes for entering and maintaining data within CRM, including instructions for staff on how to manage data changes, such as changes in addresses and/or telephone numbers. 
  • Assist with other digital marketing data activities as needed. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors degree required. Degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field preferred.  
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience required, preferably in a professional services environment. An ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of professional experience. 
  • Proficient in use of CRM systems in a professional services or B2B environment. 
  • Excellent data manipulation skills, especially within CRM and Excel. 
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills. 
  • Adept at developing creative solutions to solve specific business challenges. 
  • Understanding of digital marketing, as well as mailing list production and quality. 
  • Intellectual curiosity and a proven aptitude for metrics and statistics.  
  • Attention to detail and error avoidance.
