The IT Training and Communications Coordinator works across all areas of Analysis Group’s IT department and interfaces with the rest of the firm, providing support for in-person and virtual trainings, preparing reference guides and documentation, and preparing communications related to IT-led technology initiatives.  A successful IT Training and Communications Coordinator will be one who is self-motivated and directed, strives to understand how the firm utilizes technology, is comfortable with continuous change, and has a strong focus on process.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Manager to develop and oversee technology onboarding for new employees.
  • Assist with creation and delivery of internal IT department-specific trainings.
  • Support orientation and training of end users for all modified and new systems.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation and reference guides for common technology issues at the firm.
  • Contribute to the expansion of in-person and virtual IT training courses and offerings.
  • Coordinate with Service Desk leadership to identify new technology issues requiring further training efforts and communication.
  • Maintain IT communication templates for urgent firm-wide communications (e.g., outages, unplanned maintenance).
  • Draft firm-wide communication campaigns for planned IT initiatives, working closely with the IT teams leading those efforts.
  • Develop IT outreach campaigns, including periodic newsletters, technology showcases, and Q&A sessions.
  • Prepare and deliver change management deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Develop training campaigns to reduce overall service desk tickets in the environment.
  • Required to perform in-person training, as needed, at any Analysis Group office.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • An ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of substantive relevant experience.
  • Relevant technology certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with IT service desk operations.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
