Analysis Group’s Senior Finance Manager plays a critical role within the organization, providing problem solving and strategic leadership to the Client Finance function. This position will partner closely with AG's Managing Directors and leaders to enable business growth and success. The Senior Finance Manager leads a team of over 20 finance professionals focused on client invoicing procedures while navigating complex business relationships and operational platforms. In addition, this role delivers strategic problem solving; facilitating strategic projects, developing, and implementing scalable procedures, while building business partnerships to drive positive outcomes.

 

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Client Finance Invoicing Procedures – Effectively manage and develop AG’s Billing team. Drive a culture of continuous improvement focused on efficiency, standardization, and risk mitigation.
  • Problem Solving – Provide high level of support and thought partnership with AG’s key stakeholders. Address billing issues and concerns with a high level of urgency and skilled customer support. Improve and introduce scalable procedures.
  • Customer Service – Understand the urgency of both internal and external requests. Provide high quality service and support. Resolve customer service issues that may not be a part of one’s direct responsibility. Exhibit accuracy, detail, and quality assurance in all work.
  • Analysis – Independently respond to all requests for analysis of time or billing information and statistics. Implement operational metrics to evaluate team and organizational progress.
  • Special Projects – Manage strategic projects assigned by AG’s leadership. Ensure all deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred. MBA or other advanced professional certification preferred.
  • 10 years of substantive relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Experience in a professional services company environment preferred.
  • Strong business acumen to deliver creative solutions.
  • Strong technical capabilities (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook; General Accounting software with Billing). A strong knowledge base of automation technologies preferred.
  • Experience with Elite Enterprise (3E) preferred.
  • Demonstrated problem solving capabilities and critical thinking skills, coupled with ability to adapt and be flexible to find solutions.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in writing and verbally. Demonstrated ability to listen and be responsive to needs or requests. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and sustain positive relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Demonstrates initiative and ownership.
