The Cloud Systems Specialist assists in the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Analysis Group’s cloud-based systems. In addition, the Cloud Systems Specialist is responsible for assisting with the installation, monitoring, patching and associated troubleshooting across Analysis Group’s Cloud Infrastructure team.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining cloud services, physical and virtual servers and networks.
  • Work primarily in AWS to send/receive data to/from clients.
  • Working with Information Security to manage updates and patches.
  • Overseeing system performance and proactively troubleshooting issues using SolarWinds.
  • Handling back-up procedures for on-prem and cloud-based systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Be responsible for Cloud asset management, including system inventory and related. documentation and technical specifications.
  • Help support M365 messaging requests.
  • Respond to service requests through the ServiceNow queue.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years substantive relevant work experience required.
  • An ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of substantive relevant experience.
  • Firm understanding of Windows system administration and security required.
  • Experience and success with AWS preferred (Azure and GCP is a bonus).
  • Technical knowledge of information security standards and best practices.
  • Hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Some knowledge of systems, server software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong customer service orientation. Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Familiarity with Jira is helpful.
