Analysis Group is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated individual to join our DE&I team. This person should have a clear passion for creating an inclusive and welcoming workplace where people of all backgrounds can thrive and where fairness and non-discrimination are core values. The role of the Manager, DE&I helps drive the operations of the DE&I function and is vital to maintaining continuity of program management and support across key priorities.

 

This position will report to the Head of DE&I (HDE&I) and will collaborate closely with our DE&I team, HRBP team, affinity groups, local office liaisons and managers, and Events team to provide high quality support for a variety of inclusion efforts across the firm, including firmwide heritage month and cultural observance events, affinity group programs, and workshops. This role will be based in Boston.

 

Core responsibilities of the role are described below, but as with all jobs at AG, there will be tasks and projects assigned to you that are not described here.

  • Affinity Group Workstream
    • Support affinity group programming and collaboration, including coordinating regular affinity group leader meetings, overseeing affinity group events and associated communications and invitations, managing points of connection between affinity groups and other teams (e.g., Office Managers, Events team, L&D team), and running the annual affinity group business planning process.
    • Coordinate and oversee firmwide programming run by the affinity groups, including firmwide speaker events, training, and communications campaigns.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for certain affinity groups and provide support and guidance for member, ally, and firmwide programming.
    • Support the development of proposals for new affinity group programming and affinity groups.
  • DE&I Firmwide Programs & Initiatives
    • Manage and oversee our DE&I liaisons program, including developing agendas, leading meetings, updating the roster, and setting goals for the group.
    • Support aspects of our annual Analysis Group Orientation (AGO), serve as a team representative at the affinity group sign-up table, and support DE&I team around final prep sessions for DE&I programming at AGO.
    • Support HDE&I with DE&I research and data analysis.
    • Support the project management of all DE&I projects and initiatives.
  • DE&I Operations
    • Develop the annual DE&I budget in consultation with HDE&I.
    • In partnership with other Manager, DE&I, support DE&I Assistant and Co-op with their administrative responsibilities as necessary, including calendar management, budget management, and affinity group member management.
    • Manage DE&I team relationship with and updates to Office Managers, particularly with respect to affinity group programming and support.
    • Review reports of DE&I SPEC hours and DE&I spending reports and discuss with HDE&I as needed.
  • DE&I Communications & Marketing Workstream
    • Draft firm DE&I updates and, with guidance from HDE&I, gather and incorporate input from affinity groups.
    • Serve as a content coordinator for news stories on the AG InSite home page.
    • Post DE&I-related news on AG InSite home page (e.g., holiday notices, event recaps).
    • Maintain and update the firm’s DE&I pages on InSite and associated affinity group pages.
    • Coordinate with the Marketing team to make updates to the DE&I content on the firm’s external website.
    • Join the firm’s LinkedIn/social media working group and support DE&I team co-op/assistant with the development of regular DE&I-related posts.
    • Maintain and update any DE&I-related marketing collateral (e.g., flyers, FAQ guides).
    • Support responses to client RFIs/RFPs that contain questions pertaining to DE&I.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ substantive relevant experience required.
  • 7-10 years of substantive relevant experience preferred, preferably as part of a human resources, L&D, or DE&I team. Professional services experience also a plus.
  • Strong Office software skills (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) required, and experience with HR Information Systems and basic data analysis preferred.
  • Discretion and professional maturity in working with sensitive information.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment, with strong organizational skills; attention to detail; judgment; and an ability to organize and work on multiple workstreams simultaneously, prioritize projects, meet deadlines, and be flexible to respond to shifting demands.
  • Able to effectively work independently and within a team, supporting other HR functions as needed.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of and willingness to deepen learning about DE&I topics.
  • An inclusive and growth-oriented mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and an ability to work across differences.
