The Healthcare Operations Data Coordinator supports the Healthcare Operations team by collaborating with both consulting staff and administrative teams to execute key tasks, manage documents, and oversee and streamline existing processes. An ideal candidate has an analytical mindset, strong customer service skills, and the ability to take initiative and balance multiple projects while contributing as a team player across a variety of projects.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Data Knowledge Sharing:
- Support the identification of the data sources best suited to address case team needs and demonstrate familiarity with source-specific nuances. Proactively maintain and update Healthcare (HC) practice knowledge resources available to AG consultants.
- Contribute data-related language, feasibility assessments, and cost benchmarks to proposals and pitch materials.
- Support the operation of the Healthcare Data Library to collect and disseminate data knowledge.
- Serve as a liaison across HC teams to identify overlapping data needs and potential efficiencies.
- Update and maintain the Medical Center and Survey Vendor trackers; maintain recurring online surveys to collect information from Information Owners on new centers and vendors for inclusion in trackers.
- Case-Based Knowledge Integration:
- Ensure the information gathered by the Information Owner is shared with the appropriate data sources.
- Capture insights from completed cases (e.g., vendor performance, data quality issues, unexpected limitations) and integrate them into centralized HC resources.
- Healthcare Data Vendor Overview and Centralized Support:
- Maintain an overview of key healthcare data vendors, including capabilities, pricing structures, strengths/limitations, and typical turnaround times.
- Support case teams throughout the data request and acquisition process, including clarifying data needs, advising on appropriate vendors and datasets, and facilitating communications with external data providers.
- Address team questions regarding data scope, structure, timelines, and feasibility, and coordinate follow-ups with vendors as needed.
- Centralize data vendor outreach/data requests. Centralize, document, and maintain key information gathered through vendor interactions (e.g., data specifications, pricing benchmarks, turnaround times, known limitations) to build institutional knowledge and improve efficiency across engagements.
- Healthcare Data Landscape Monitoring: Maintain awareness of emerging healthcare data sources, regulatory changes, and market trends that may impact data availability, access, or methodological considerations.
- Team Support:
- Support the Healthcare Operations Senior Manager with cross-functional healthcare initiatives and special projects, status tracking, and documentation.
- Support the consulting teams with any other data related initiatives, including internal data collection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- An ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of substantive relevant experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
- Experience working with health data.
- Strong PC capability (including Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player; willingness to assist with ad-hoc projects when needed.
- Some experience with basic programming required (R, SAS, VBA, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Experience with a document management system (e.g., SharePoint) or a citation management system (e.g., EndNote) preferred.
- Experience with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) preferred.

Analysis Group offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000–$70,000. Compensation offered will be based on a number of factors including work experience, education, and skill level.
